Updated: Oct 28, 2019

High school forward Jalen Green will return to the country for FilAm Sports USA for the 2019 Chooks-to-Go SM-NBTC National Finals next week.

The 17-year-old Fil-Am forward from Merced, California makes his Philippine comeback after dazzling in last year's competitions, most notably for his jaw-dropping dunks.

This year’s event is set March 18 to 24 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Green also made an NBTC record 51 points in FilAm Sports USA's quarterfinal defeat to eventual champion NU Bullpups.

The 6-foot-5 Green, who is one of the headliners for the Class of 2020, has continued to build his stock with San Joaquin Memorial in Fresno before announcing his transfer to Prolific Prep Academy in Napa, California.

He was also named as the Most Valuable Player in the 2018 Fiba Under-17 Basketball World Cup in Argentina when he represented USA.

FilAm Sports USA is one of the six international teams joining this year's 32-team field. The others are Durham Crossover Canada, AusPinoy Australia, Camp David New Zealand, Team Italy Europe Basketball and Top Flight Hoops Vancouver.
