Ateneo de Manila University's next talented tandem is already on deck.
With the impending departures of Matt Nieto, the Blue Eagles are counting on Ramos brothers Dwight and Eli to make sure the Blue Eagles' backcourt doesn't miss a beat.
Dwight, the highly touted recruit who has US NCAA Division 1 experience, is still serving one year of residency, however.
In that light, according to several sources, the Katipunan-based team has decided to also sit out younger brother Eli so that the Ramoses will spend most of their collegiate careers as teammates.
Dwight, a big guard standing at 6-foot-5, was actually included in the Gilas Pilipinas 23 for 23 while 6-foot-3 Eli opened more than a few eyes as he suited up for Fil-Am Sports USA in the NBTC.
The two will be good to go for Ateneo in UAAP Season 83 with Dwight having two years left to play and Eli having all five years of eligibility.
Then, they will be leaned on to steady the ship for the Blue Eagles alongside Adrian Wong, Tyler Tio, and SJ Belangel.
