COURTSIDE | Jalen Green, Jeron Artest headline fil-foreign additions to beef up NBTC All-Star Game

Filipino-American stars Jalen Green and Jeron Artest headline fil-foreigner additions that will beef up the NBTC All-Star Game set on Saturday in the 2019 Chooks-to-Go SM NBTC League National Finals at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.



The two young stars will join FilAm Sports USA teammate Kai Ballungay in the Team Heart led by La Salle Greenhills ace Joel Cagulangan while their teammate Brandon Wilson,Tyler Garcia of Durham Crossover Canada and Jasper Rentoy of AusPinoy will join the Kai Sotto-led Team Hustle.


Green and Artest is set to boost an already talented line up of NU’s Carl Tamayo, LSGH's Inand Fornilos and Joshua David, Hope Christian’s Harvey Pagsanjan, Arellano’s Aaron Fermin for Team Heart.


Joining them as well are Mapua’s Paolo Hernandez and Dan Arches, University of Visayas’ Joshua Yerro, Lyceum’s Mac Guadana, Chiang Kai Shek’s Rafael Go and Adamson's Joem Sabandal and Adam Doria.


Meanwhile, aside form Wilson, Garcia and Rentoy, Team Hustle will banner highschool standouts, Mark Nonoy and Bismarck Lina from UST and the championship core of Gerry Abadiano, Terrence Fortea, and Kevin Quiambao.


Ateneo standouts Geo Chiu and Forthsky Padrigao will join the fray along with FEU’s RJ Abarrientos, JRU’s John Amores, San Beda’s Tony Ynot and Mapua’s Jonnel Policarpio and injured Clint Escamis.


Charles Tiu will be at the helm for Team Heart while Chris Gavina will be leading the Team Hustle from the sidelines.
