ABSCBN | Fil-Ams Green, Artest banner foreign additions to NBTC All-Star

MANILA -- High-flying Jalen Green and defensive guard Jeron Artest of FilAm Sports USA will show off their wares in the 2019 Chooks-to-Go SM NBTC All-Star Game on Saturday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.



Green, Artest, and fellow Fil-Am forward Kai Ballungay will reinforce Team Heart of captain Joel Cagulangan as they were part of the 6 players picked to mix it up with the top local high school basketball players.


The Fil-Am trio will join National University’s Carl Tamayo, La Salle Green Hills's Inand Fornilos and Joshua David, Hope Christian Academy’s Harvey Pagsanjan, Arellano University’s Aaron Fermin, Mapua University’s Paolo Hernandez and Dan Arches, University of Visayas’ Joshua Yerro, Lyceum of the Philippines University’s Mac Guadana, Chiang Kai Shek College’s Rafael Go, and Adamson University's Joem Sabandal and Adam Doria.


Charles Tiu will serve as Team Heart's mentor in the annual showdown of the best young talent in the Philippines.


FilAm Sports' Brandon Wilson, meanwhile, will team up with Tyler Garcia of Durham Crossover Canada and Jasper Rentoy of AusPinoy as they beef up Team Hustle of captain Kai Sotto.


They will go to war with Mark Nonoy and Bismarck Lina from University of Santo Tomas; the NU trio of Gerry Abadiano, Terrence Fortea, and Kevin Quiambao; Geo Chiu and Forthsky Padrigao of Ateneo de Manila High School; RJ Abarrientos of Far Eastern University; John Amores of Jose Rizal University; Jonnel Policarpio of Mapua; San Beda University's Tony Ynot; and injured Clint Escamis of Mapua.


Chris Gavina will coach Team Hustle in the side event for the national high school championship.
