KNICKS FILIPINO HERITAGE NIGHT

On January 4, 2017, Filipino-Americans celebrated our Filipino Heritage with the New York Knicks in the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden!

Fil-Am Sports NJ in collaboration with Philippine Airlines, and Tanduay USA presented a night to unite over 300 Fil-Ams from all over the tri-state area.

Looking great in the limited edition t-shirts designed by killdit!

Over 250+ shirts were distributed! #killdit

For the first time, Fil-Am youths graced the court of the New York Knicks! Erwin Valencia, the first Filipino in the NBA is the New York Knicks Director of Training and Conditioning. Prior to the game, he inspired the teams with a pep talk. Of course, we took a selfie! As the kids sprinted across the full court, they played with smiles on their faces!

They displayed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm, and made memories for a lifetime!

Although the Knicks ended a close game with a loss against the Bucks, Filipino Heritage Night took the win! Excitement, laughter, and fun filled the atmosphere throughout the night.

We came together and represented our Pinoy Pride!

The night wouldn’t have been possible without our fellow kababayans and supporters!
