The FCDC basketball team successfully participated in the Seniors Division of the Spring Tournament organized by Fil-Am Sports of Ocean County, New Jersey (FASOC-NJ). Composed of active members and supporters of your FCDC, the team gave a decent showing against some all star Senior Teams with some pretty amazing Fil-Am players from all over the Jersey corridor. The FCDC team did serve as Ambassadors of the organization, giving out copies of the newsletter and answering questions about the organization and its objectives.
Your FCDC team finished with a decent 2-4 record and just fell short of bagging the third place title. We’ll be back though. Congratulations to FASOC for successfully sponsoring another well-organized and well-participated tournament for Fil-Am basket ball enthusiasts in New Jersey. Congratulations as well to this year’s winners: JSMPA Filam Sports, Senior Division Champions and FOB Five, Open Division Champions.
